Brian’s 2011 MLB Predictions

I may not be our resident betting expert, but I’ve got a good feeling about these picks.

AL East Champ: Yankees

AL Central Champ: Tigers

AL West Champ: Rangers

AL Wild Card: Red Sox

NL East Champ: Braves

NL Central Champ: Reds

NL West Champ: Rockies

NL Wild Card: Phillies

AL Champ: Red Sox

NL Champ: Phillies

World Series Champ: Red Sox in 7.

AL MVP: Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees

AL CY: Jon Lester, Boston Red Sox

AL ROY: Jeremy Hellickson, Tampa Bay Rays

NL MVP: Troy Tulowitzki, Colorado Rockies

NL CY: Tommy Hanson, Atlanta Brave

NL ROY: Aroldis Chapman, Cincinnati Reds

Top 5 BOLD Predictions for 2011:

1. Nelson Cruz will finally put up those incredible stats over more that 500 AB’s in a season.

2. Roy Halladay will not be the best pitcher on the Phillies staff.

3. The New York Mets will have new owners before the end of the season.

4. Barry Bonds trial will finally come to a merciful end in 2011. ( I can’t take anymore stories about his hat size.)

5. Brian Wilson will go from beloved, wild child in San Francisco to annoying, unfocused flake as their season unfolds.
