08.14.11 Box Score Breakdown: Fantasy MLB News and Notes

Our league has just 3 H2H weeks left. Here are the standings of the nuts you know:

4th and Home Player of the Day: Albert Pujols – 3/4, R, HR, 2 RBI…Here for one reason.

The Bats:
Brandon Belt – 2/4, 2R, 2 HR, 2 RBI…Not a bad return from AAA!

Jay Bruce – 1/4, R, HR, 3 RBI…Well, I said it before but if Bruce is heating up now he’ll most likely go cold for your H2H playoffs.

Michael Bourn – 3/4, R, 2 RBI, 2 SB…What the Braves needed. Killboy’s love affair continues.

Nick Markakis – 3/5, R, HR, 4 RBI…Still not upset I dropped his @ss two months ago. BORING!

Matt Kemp – 2/4, R, HR, 2 RBI, SB…BSFU! 2 HR to go for the 30/30 club.

Casper Wells – 1/3, 2 R, HR, RBI, SB…BSFU! I thought he was still on Detroit!

Logan Morrison – N/A…Sent to AAA. Yeah, he won’t be in Florida much longer. Get him in a better lineup!

The Arms:
Ryan Vogelsong
– 7.2/4/2/8:2…Now 10-2 with a 2.47 ERA and 1.25 WHIP. Not bad for a waiver wire add!

Brandon Beachy – 5.1/6/2/8:0…6th inning did him in in an otherwise great start.

Hiroki Kuroda – 7/5/0/6:1…14 losses with a 2.88 ERA? Yeah, he’s a Dodger.

Coming soon…the July Review of my September Stars Series…
